Van Leeuwen earns NJAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the sixth consecutive week after traveling to Philadelphia to compete at the historic Penn Relays. He placed second in an elite field of national competitors in the pole vault with an NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 5.20 meters. Van Leeuwen’s runner-up performance included defeats of several national caliber Division I competitors from institutions such as Houston, LSU, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Princeton.
