Mahwah, NJ:  Matt Suero and Dale Leonard of the Ramapo College outdoor track & field team have been selected to participate in the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The championships will be held from May 21-23 at Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin and hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. For each individual event contested, including the decathlon and heptathlon, the top 22 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition.

Suero will make his first appearance on the national stage in the 400m hurdle prelims on Thursday, May 21nd at 5:25 PM. The finals are on Saturday, May 23rd at 3:25 PM. Suero lowered his own program record in the 400m hurdles at the Widener Last Chance with a time of 52.44 seconds.

Leonard will make her second appearance at the outdoor track & field championships when she competes in the 800m prelims on Friday, May 22nd at 3:20 PM. The finals are on Saturday, May 23rd at 2:50 PM. Leonard also lowered her own program record in the 800m at Widener when she crossed the line in 2:10.42.
