Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team battled back in the fifth set to defeat visiting Bard College, 3-2 (25-23, 25-20, 21-25, 22-25, 15-11). The Roadrunners move to 11-12 overall while the Raptors now stand at 13-16 on the season.
Ramapo tallied 57 kills in the match while they hit .353 in the fifth set to win it.
Jan Tracz led the team with 16 kills while adding three aces, three solo blocks and eight digs.
Amari Menter posted 15 kills, two blocks and six digs while
Xavier Fabre added 10 kills as he hit .692 for the match. Fabre added three total blocks and one dig.
Sean McNally led the way on defense with 12 digs while adding four assists.
Joseph Duca dished out 45 assists while
Caleb Ford posted four blocks, three digs and five kills.
Sidney Stein led Bard with 16 kills while Ansel Waisler posted 15 in the match with a combined five blocks and seven digs. Pearse Esposito collected a team high 28 assists while Jacob Gideon added 14 assists, seven digs and one ace. Esposito led the team with 12 digs on defense while adding six kills. The Raptors posted 51 kills on 132 attempts with 27 errors.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, April 4th when they travel to John Jay College for a match at 12pm.
