Game Recap: Men's Volleyball |

RAMAPO MEN'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO MARYMOUNT 3-2 AND DREW 3-0

Madison, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches today at Drew University. The Roadrunners fell in a five-set match to Marymount University, 3-2 while the host Rangers defeated Ramapo 3-0 in the final match of the evening. 

Match #1: Marymount 3, Ramapo 2 (23-25, 25-20, 16-25, 25-23, 15-11)
Marymount (12-10 overall) won a thrilling five-set match over Ramapo. The Saints were led by Sam Cook who hit .424 in the match with 17 kills on 33 attempts with just three errors, he also posted two blocks, three digs and one ace. Noah Simes led the team with five aces while adding seven kills. Bryce Schkeeper tallied seven kills along with a team high four assisted blocks. Diego Pena posted a team high 47 assists and seven digs while also collecting three kills. The team hit .271 in the match with 55 kills on 118 attempts with 23 errors.

For the Roadrunners, Jan Tracz hit .389 with a team high 19 kills on 36 attempts with five errors. He also posted three aces, six digs and one block. Amari Menter posted 12 kills and hit .320 on 25 attempts with four errors. Menter also posted three aces along with one block and two digs. Joseph Duca dished out a team high 40 assists while adding a team high four aces and ten digs. Xavier Fabre posted a team high three assisted blocks with five kills on 13 attempts with no errors to hit .385.

Math #2: Drew 3, Ramapo 0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-15)
The Rangers defeated Ramapo by hitting .328 in the match with 31 kills on 67 attempts with just nine errors. Matthew Adegbite led Drew with seven kills while Quinn Donahue and Michael Shipman each posted six kills. Donahue hit .750 with six kills on eight attempts and no errors as he dished out a team high 20 assists. Jason Barbosa posted 11 digs, two blocks, four kills and one ace along with five assists.

Sebastian Rodriguez and Tracz each posted seven kills while Menter, Caleb Ford and Fabre all contributed with four kills each. Sean McNally posted six digs while Duca dished out 27 assists and five digs. Ramapo posted 32 kills on 84 attempts with 24 errors.

The Roadrunners return to action on Friday, March 27th when they host Immaculata University at 6:00pm.
