Mahwah, NJ: The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced the 2025 NJAC Women's Lacrosse preseason poll this afternoon seeing Ramapo College tabbed to finish sixth in the league.
Nicole Barbella enters her fourth season as the team's head coach and returns a veteran lineup to the field. Last season the Roadrunners recorded five wins on the year, the most since the 2019 season. Coach Barbella welcomes back senior captain
Erin Smeilus and sophomore
Kassidy Baez who both play attack. Smeilus returns after leading the team last season with 34 goals (six assists) for a team high 40 points. Baez finished tied for assists with 17 while she added 13 goals for 30 points. Senior captain
Bethany Glaser will continue to patrol the midfield while junior captain Daniella Indomencio returns as the team's goalkeeper. Glaser scored 27 goals last season which was second on the team while adding four assists for 31 points. Indomenico logged over 583 minutes in goal last year while she posted 101 saves as she faced 314 shots. Coach Barbella will also look to newcomers; freshman attack player

The Roadrunners open the 2026 season on Saturday, Feb. 21st at home against King's College at 1:00 PM. The team will play ten games prior to facing an NJAC opponent including a pair of games at the Spring Fling in Panama City Beach, FL (March 18th & 19th). Ramapo will open NJAC play on Wednesday, April 8th when they travel to Montclair State University for a 7:00 PM game. Find the
