Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team opened the 2026 season with a sweep over visiting Lehman College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-14). The Lightning now stand at 0-3 overall.
Ramapo was led by
Josh Barrett who put down 14 kills as he hit .478 in the match while he added one ace and three digs.
Jan Tracz posted 12 kills; two aces and four digs and
Ryan Westrich led the team with five service aces.
Sean McNally led the team on defense with 10 digs while he added one kill and one assist.
Joseph Duca dished out a team high 31 assists in the match while he added four digs and one kill. The Roadrunners hit .300 in the match with 40 total kills on 80 attempts with 16 errors.
For Lehman, they were led by Almir Pepic who posted six kills including two blocks (one solo) and three digs. Jordan Johnson posted four kills, three digs and one service ace while leading the team with three solo blocks. On defense Levi Rosario collected five digs while John Zerafa recorded nine assists in the match to lead the team.
Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday, Jan. 21st when they host Rutgers-Newark University for a NJAC match at 6:00 PM.
