Scranton, PA: The Marywood University women's soccer team defeated Ramapo College this afternoon in non-conference action, 1-0. The Pacers improve to 6-1 overall while the Roadrunners now stand at 3-2-1 on the year.
Marywood had seven shots in the first half while Carly Walters found the back of the net in the 31st minute (30:04) for the 1-0 score. Walters tallied her sixth goal of the season for the Pacers. For the game, Marywood posted eight shots on goal to Ramapo's three while the Pacers posted 11 corner kicks.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 24th when they travel to Penn College for a non-conference game at 7pm.
