Farmingdale, NY: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team took down Farmingdale State College, 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-9 tonight in non-conference action. The Roadrunners won their third straight match and improved to 4-1 overall while handing the Rams (6-2 overall) just their second loss of the season.
The Roadrunners hit .267 as a team with 44 kills on 105 attempts with 16 errors in the three-set match.
Asya Akar led the team with 14 kills while she added one assist and nine digs.
Jasmine Rolle posted eight kills, two digs and one block while
Valentina Palen collected seven kills, two assists, three digs and one block.
Katie Bishop led the way with 34 assists while she added seven kills and two digs.
Alyssa Edmond led the team with two aces while
Emma Garcia posted 16 digs to lead the team on defense.
For the Rams, Alana Henry led the team with six kills, two solo blocks while Delaney Keegan posted five kills, three assists and six digs. Allison Salinas led the team on defense with 12 digs while Sarah Rende posted a team high 19 assists along with three kills, four aces and nine digs.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 16th at the Bradley Center when they host Centenary University in non-conference action at 7:00 PM.
