Chester, PA: The Ramapo College men's outdoor track & field team competed at the Widener Final Qualifier hosted by Widener University this afternoon.
Matt Suero set a new program record in the 400m hurdles when he clocked in at 53.61 seconds. He set a new program mark which was last set in 2010 by Jermaine Boyd in 53.67 seconds.
Brandon Balcacer posted a time of 11.01 seconds in the 100m prelims while
Marco Bozza-Caballero and
JC Mendoza clocked in at 11.16 seconds and 11.44 seconds respectively. Four Roadrunners ran in the 200m race:
Anthony Gentile finished in 19th place in 22.51 seconds,
Mark Shinkorenko (22.91),
Terrell Lockett (23.15) and Bozza-Caballero (23.29). Gentile led the way in the 400m dash with a time of 50.22 seconds while Lockett clocked in at 50.64 seconds and Shinkorenko in 50.73 seconds.
Select Roadrunners who qualified for the All-Atlantic Regional Championship Meet will compete this week on Wednesday, May 14th & Thursday, May 15th. The meet is being hosted by William College.
