Mahwah, NJ: The #11 ranked College of New Jersey women's lacrosse team defeated Ramapo College to remain undefeated in the NJAC conference, 21-2. The Lions improve to 10-3 overall and 3-0 in the league while the Roadrunners move to 5-6 overall and 0-3 in the NJAC.
TCNJ jumped out to a 7-0 lead after the first quarter of action before they added five goals for a 12-0 lead before Ramapo got on the board with their first goal with 5:44 in the second as
Erin Smeilus hit the back of the net off a pass from
Esme Espinosa. The Lions added three more goals to wrap up the second quarter as they went into halftime up, 17-1.
TCNJ scored the first two goals of the third while Smeilus connected with Espinosa once again to score Ramapo's second goal of the game. TCNJ added four more goals to round out the game for a 21-2 road victory. Ally Tobler and Marissa Lucca each collected eight points in the game for TCNJ as Lucca posted six goals and two assists while Tobler added four goals, four assists, and three ground balls.

Bethany Glaser, and
Lauren Travaglini each tallied three caused turnovers in the game. Travaglini added three ground balls and three draw controls while Smeilus posted Ramapo's two goals and Espinosa collected two assists.
Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday, April 23rd when they travel to Kean University for a 4pm NJAC game.
