Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team defeated Sarah Lawrence College tonight at the Bradley Center, 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-19). The Roadrunners extend their win streak to five matches while they now stand at 15-8 overall and 11-3 in the Skyline. The Gryphons move to 10-11 overall and 5-8 in the league.
Ramapo hit .427 in the match with 49 total kills on 89 attempts with 11 errors.
Brady Cascone tallied 16 kills as he hit .423 overall with one ace and four digs.
Reece Kirchofer, the Skyline Co-Player of the Week, posted 13 kills as he hit .407 overall with five digs and one block.
JoJo Meyer, the NJAC Defensive Player of the Week, dished out 44 assists including his 3,000th of his career. Meyer is just the fourth Roadrunner in program history to eclipse this mark. He also tallied three kills, one ace, one solo block and seven digs.
Ryan Westrich posted a match high eight digs while adding three aces.
Caleb Ford posted seven kills as he hit .500 in the match while recording three solo blocks.
Jan Tracz contributed with seven kills, two aces, one block and two digs.
Nate Davis led Sarah Lawrence with 12 kills. Davis, the Skyline Co-Player of the Week, also posted three digs. Nathan Dreger added five kills and three digs while Alex Xie posted 20 assists, two kills and five digs. Lucas Buckley contributed with five digs and three kills. The team recorded 23 kills overall on 73 attempts along with 15 errors.
The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday evening as they take on Mount Saint Vincent in Skyline action at 7pm.
