Dallas, PA: The Ramapo College women's swim team competed at the Cougar Splash Invitational hosted by Misericordia University. The Roadrunners wrapped up the three-day invitational with a fourth-place finish as the recorded 225 points.
Sovy Taylor recorded a time of 54.31 seconds in the 100 freestyle to finish fourth overall, this was a season best and career best.
Madi Benefield grabbed a top 10 finish in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 18:37.67 as she finished in eighth place overall.
Grace Korey grabbed a 10th place finish in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:43.31. The 400 freestyle relay placed fifth overall with a combined time of 3:44.87. The team was made up of Taylor,
Valeria Pages,
Alazne Sudupe and Benefield.
The Roadrunners return to Misericordia University on December 6th for a tri-meet with the host Cougars and Wilkes University starting at 1pm.
