Galloway, NJ: The third-seeded Stockton University women's volleyball team swept sixth-seeded Ramapo College tonight in the quarterfinal of the NJAC Tournament. The Ospreys (21-8) will now travel to second-seeded Rowan University for the NJAC semifinals on Thursday evening. The Roadrunners wrap up the 2025 season with a 17-11 overall record.
The Ospreys recorded an incredible attack percentage of .403 in the match with 39 total kills on 77 attempts with just eight errors. The Roadrunners tallied 22 kills on 76 attempts with 16 errors. Stockton was led by Kate Louer who posted 11 kills, four digs, two blocks and one ace while Camille De La Torre collected eight kills on 15 attempts with just one error to hit .467 in the match. Kristen Burton posted 17 assists and Regan Mendick tallied 15 as they split setting duties while McKenna Ritchie recorded 11 digs to lead the Ospreys on defense.
The Roadrunners were led by
Valentina Palen who put down eight kills while Asay Akar tallied six kills and five digs. Two other Roadrunners recorded five digs in the match in
Emma Garcia and
Katie Bishop. Bishop also led the way with 19 assists while adding two kills.
Scarlett Melick,
Emilia Ristevska and
Jasmine Rolle combined to record Ramapo's three blocks in the game.
Wendy Palaguachi,
Jasmine Rolle and
Alyssa Edmond each tallied one ace in the match.
