New York, NY: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team earned their 15th victory of the season with a 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-22) road win over Lehman College. The Roadrunners move to 15-5 overall while the Lightning now stand at 3-11 on the year.
Katie Bishop led the Roadrunners with 30 assists, nine aces and 10 digs while also collecting one kill.
Valentina Palen recorded a team high eight kills while adding two aces, three digs and one block.
Scarlett Melick posted seven kills and three digs while
Asya Akar tallied six kills, three aces and one dig. On defense,
Emma Garcia collected nine digs for the team. Ramapo recorded 34 total kills on 89 attempts with 16 errors.
For Lehman, Alanis Vasquez led the team with six kills while adding two aces, one block and five digs. Olivia Boothe posted five kills and three digs while Ayah Hamdaoui dished out 11 assists and Laura Pinales led the team on defense with eight digs. The team posted 14 total kills on 70 attempts with 12 errors.
The Roadrunners return to action on October 21st when they travel to Montclair State University for a NJAC match at 7:00pm.
