Riverdale, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team improved 4-0 in Skyline Conference action with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-16, 25-8) road win over the University of Mount Saint Vincent. The Roadrunners move to 7-4 overall while the Dolphins now stand at 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the Skyline.
The Roadrunners were led by
Reece Kirchofer who tallied a team high ten kills, three aces and seven digs while he added one solo block.
Nick Lisi collected six kills, four digs and two aces while
Anubis Roman hit .833 in the match with five kills on six attempts with no errors. He added three total blocks, two digs and one ace. On defense
Jon Zawada tallied five digs.
JoJo Meyer posted 33 assists, two kills, three digs, and two blocks (one solo).
Amari Menter and
Brendan Edwards each posted four kills in the match while Menter added one solo block and one dig. Ramapo hit .593 in the match with 36 total kills on 54 attempts and just four errors.
For the Dolphins, Kyle Thompson posted five kills while Olattomiwa Ibitayo and Yestro Luciano Jr., each added four of their own. Kevin Erhand tallied 14 assists while Felix Paulino collected five digs on defense. The team recorded 18 kills on 65 attempts with 18 errors.
Ramapo returns to action on Thursday, March 7th when they host Yeshiva University in a Skyline match at 7:00 PM.
