New York, NY: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team fell in two non-conference matches this afternoon on the road. Host John Jay College defeated Ramapo, 3-1, while Western New England University earned a 3-0 win over the Roadrunners.
Ramapo (2-10 overall) were led by
Riley Stewart who posted 20 kills on the day while
Amanda Fatouh and
Emily Shea each collected 11.
Katie Bishop posted 35 total assists in two matches while adding two aces and four kills. On defense the team was led by
Emma Garcia who collected 24 digs while Shea and
Krista Price contributed with seven and five blocks respectively.
Kaitlyn Van Zile posted two solo blocks to lead the team along with four assisted blocks.
Ramapo returns to action on October 8th when they travel to Rutgers-Newark University for a NJAC match at 7PM.
