Glassboro, NJ: The Rowan University field hockey team moved to 6-7 overall and 1-0 in the NJAC this evening with a 6-0 win over Ramapo College. The Roadrunners move to 3-9 overall and 0-1 in the league.
Allie Palumbo put the Profs on the board in the first quarter before she added the team's second goal in the second quarter, 2-0. In the third, Rowan added four goals to their tally to extend the lead, 6-0. Alexa Ronning scored on a penalty stroke before Tess Herman, Kylie Elwell and Ella Toll each recorded a goal. Rowan posted 21 shots in the game including 16 on goal while they recorded 13 penalty corners.
Michelle Kukan moved to third in all-time career saves at Ramapo with her 6th save of the game in the second quarter. Kukan wrapped up the game with eight saves and she now has 385 in her career.
The Roadrunners return to action on October 16th when they host Montclair State University in NJAC action at 4pm.
