Bronxville, NY: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team moved their win streak to four in a row with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-7, 25-12) road victory over host Sarah Lawrence College. The Roadrunners now stand at 4-0 overall while the Gryphons move to 2-2 overall.
Ramapo hit .431 in the match including .522 in the second set where they posted 14 kills and held their opponents to just seven points. The Roadrunners were led by
Maliyah LaBrie who posted eight kills, four digs and two aces.
Desiree Cruz added seven kills, two assists and two digs while
Kalme Moncavo collected five kills and four digs.
Karolina Rodriguez led the way with two solo blocks and added three kills while
Krystal Santiago Oquendo recorded a team high seven digs on defense.
Cleopatra Diakou dished out a team high 17 assists and seven aces while she put down two kills.
The Gryphons were led by Athena Kazos who posted six kills, three digs and one block. Mia Rector dished out nine assists while recording two digs and one block and Tabitha Hardin-Zollo posted four digs on defense while adding two aces.
Ramapo returns to action at the Bradley Center on Saturday, September 16th when they host FDU-Florham (11am) and Pratt Institute (3pm) in a non-conference tri-match. FDU-Florham and Pratt will play the neutral site match scheduled for 1pm.
