Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's outdoor track and field team competed in day one of the 2023 NJAC Track & Field Championships. The Roadrunners are currently tied in sixth place with four team points.

In the prelims of the 400m race,
Rebecca Kneppel qualified for tomorrow's finals and set a new school record when she clocked in at 57.14 seconds. The previous record was held by Sophia Davis (57.18) in 2011.
Gbarper Dwah broke her own school record in the prelims of the 100m dash in 12.02 seconds as she finished first in the prelims to qualify for the finals. In the 200m prelims, Dwah set her second school record of the day when she crossed the finish line in 24.71 seconds for a third place finish. Kneppel was right behind her in heat three and posted a time of 24.92 seconds to finish fourth; both Roadrunners qualified for the finals tomorrow afternoon.

In the prelims of the 400m hurdles,
Barbara Exilus qualified for Sunday's finals when she finished fifth overall with a time of 1:06.15. Her time is fifth all-time at Ramapo. In the finals of the long jump,
Jessica Branham placed sixth overall with a mark of 5.14m. In the finals of the javelin throw,
Mia Santana posted a mark of 30.24m as she finished in 8th place overall.
