Staten Island, NY: The Ramapo College women's indoor track and field team competed at the Metropolitan Championships today at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. The Roadrunners posted 11 points as they finished in 12th place overall.

Dale Leonard was the Roadrunners top finisher of the meet as she grabbed a third-place finish in the 500m dash as she clocked in at 1:17.35. Leonard's time is now second all-time in program history. Rea Pagatpatan finished eighth overall in the 1,000m run as she crossed the finish line in 3:21.30. Kiera Gregory clocked in with a time of 19:45.14 for a tenth-place finish in the 5k. The 4x200m relay team finished fifth overall with a combined time of 1:47.59. The team was made up of Madison Parker-Anderson, Abigail Jones, Bryanna Shepperson and Ashley Gordon.

The team returns to action on Friday, Feb. 6th when select members of the team will compete at the Scarlet Knights Open at the New York Armory.
