Philadelphia, PA: The Ramapo College women's indoor track and field team finished in 5th place at the 2025-2026 NJAC Indoor Track & Field Championships with 44.50 points. The two-day meet was held on Feb. 21st and Feb. 27th, 2026 at the Ott Center.
Dale Leonard highlighted day two of the meet for the Roadrunners as she captured the 800m NJAC Championship with a winning time of 2:12.37. Leonard's time is a new Ramapo record along with sitting as the 11th best time across NCAA DIII this season. In the 60m dash,
Ashley Gordon clocked in at 7.99 seconds for a 7th place finish while
Abigail Jones finished 8th overall in the 60m hurdles in 10.87 seconds. Two Roadrunners competed in the mile,
Zoe Gregory and
Rea Pagatpatan as they finished back-to-back with times of 5:39.86 and 5:44.05 respectively. Madison Parker-Anderson recorded a personal best time in the 200m dash as she crossed the finish line in 26.39 seconds while Gordon posted a season best time of 26.52 seconds.
Kiera Gregory posted a personal best time in the 3k in 11:30.82 while the women's 4x400m relay team recorded a combined season best time of 4:06.70. The team was made up of Williams, Parker-Andereson, Jones and Leonard. In the field events,
Bryanna Shepperson tied for 6th (1.48m) place and Regine Lladoc placed 9th with a personal best mark of 1.43m.
Day One Recap
The distance medley relay team captured a second-place finish with a combined time of 12:52.31. Their time cracked the NCAA D3 top 50 this season for the 39th best time. The team was made up of Leonard, Williams, Pagatpatan and Z. Gregory. The 4x200-meter relay team posted a season best time of 1:45.68. The team, who placed fourth overall, was made up of Gordon, Parker-Anderson, Jones and
Jianna Gorospe. Individually, Gordon advanced to the 60m dash finals next Friday with her season best time of 7.96 seconds in the prelims as she finished 6th. Parker-Anderson posted a personal best time of 8.08 seconds for an 11th place finish. Jones advanced to the finals of the 60m hurdles, also next Friday, with her personal best time of 9.71 seconds. She's entering the finals in seventh place. K. Gregory grabbed a 10th place finish in the 5k when she clocked in at 19:59.14. In the pole vault,
Nicolette Costa recorded a personal best when she cleared 2.45m to finish in 10th place while
Christina Chambers set a new personal best in the shot put with a mark of 9.16m, finishing in 14th place. In the pentathlon, Lladoc earned a new personal best in the high jump when she cleared 1.45m. Lladoc also finished seventh in the 60m hurdles (10.27 seconds), ninth in the 800m (2:52.99), eighth in the long jump (4.32m) and tenth in the shot put (5.69m).
Ramapo returns to action at the Ott Center on Sunday as they compete in the TCNJ Last Chance Meet at 1:00 PM.
