Mahwah, NJ:  Senior men's volleyball outside hitter, Andrew Finnegan, has been named to the 2023 American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III All-Northeast Region team, announced this morning by the association.
 
The AVCA began honoring all-region following the 2020 season and Finnegan became the first Roadrunner in program history to be named to the squad. The teams were announced this morning seeing 14 student-athletes named to each of the four regions, 56 student-athletes in total from 29 institutions. The AVCA also named a Player, Newcomer and Coach of the Year in each region. All 56 student-athletes will now have a chance to earn a spot on the AVCA All-America Team, which will be announced Monday, April 24th. The team consists of 14 First Team, 14 Second Team and Honorable Mention honorees.
 
Finnegan led the Roadrunners back to the Skyline Conference Championship match for the first time since the 2016 season. He started all 32 matches and posted a team high 419 kills this season. Finnegan also posted a team high 28 service aces and 258 digs while he posted 19 total blocks.
