MEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD PLACE 2ND OVERALL AT RAMAPO INVITATIONAL

Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's outdoor track & field team placed 2nd overall at the Ramapo College Track & Field Invitational. The Roadrunners tallied 106 team points.
 
On Friday, The 4x800m relay team finished third overall with a combined time of 8:24.80, the team was made up of Anthony Bertollo, Saim Syed, George Losche and Michael Mohr. Ian McCauley clocked in with a third place finish in 15:43.80 in the 5k while Mohamed Nidaazzi and Jason Mercado finished in 5th (16:01.86) and 6th (16:02.97) place respectively. In the field events, Sebastian Pross recorded a 4th place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 45.63-meters. Braden Holm placed 8th overall with a mark of 37.66-meters. In the shot put, Tanner Christie recorded the 4th best mark in program history with a throw of 14.01-meters as he finished 3rd overall. Zach Hartung placed 8th overall with a mark of 13.24-meters.  
 
On Saturday, Ryan Pena won the 800m race with a time of 1:57.29 while Pena placed 3rd overall in the 1,500m race with a time of 3:59.74. Cheickna Traore won the 100m dash in 10.61 seconds while Kenyon Fenderson finished 6th in 11.28 seconds. Max Dubac grabbed a first place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 55.95 seconds. Terrell Lockett finished in 8th overall in the 400m dash in 51.66 seconds. Justin Martone grabbed a 3rd place finish in the 110m hurdles in 16.32 seconds. Fenderson placed 2nd overall in the 200m dash as he crossed the finish line in 22.80 seconds. Ramapo alum Kyle Price won the Andrew Capizzi Memorial Steeplechase with a time of 9:50.72 while Ben Straebler placed 6th overall in 10:59.46.
 
The 4x400m relay team combined for a time of 3:28.73. The team was made up of Lockett, Saim Syed, Colin Unis and Dubac. In the field events on Saturday, Michael Ramos placed 8th in the discus throw with a mark of 38.60-meters. Nicolo Caminiti placed 6th overall in the high jump as he cleared 1.75-meters.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Friday April 7th and Saturday April 8th when they travel to the Metropolitan Conference Outdoor Championships.
