ROADRUNNERS WIN 5TH STRAIGHT IN SKYLINE SWEEP

Mahwah, NJ:   The Ramapo College men's volleyball team improved to 16-7 overall and 9-1 in the Skyline conference with a sweep over Yeshiva University and Purchase College today. The Roadrunners won their fifth straight in the sweep.
 
Match 1
Ramapo earned a 3-0 (25-9, 25-7, 25-15) win over the Maccabees as the Roadrunners hit .320 as a team. Andrew Finnegan led the way with nine kills while he added 11 digs and two assists. Jack DiGirolamo and Conor Charlow each tallied seven kills while Charlow posted two aces and four digs. JoJo Meyer dished out 35 assists and tallied ten digs on defense while Reece Kirchofer added seven digs and three kills.
 
Amitai Kolom led Yeshiva (5-15, 2-9 Skyline) with four kills while Shmuel Sbereman and Lavi Friedman each posted three kills in the match. Friedman led the way with five total blocks while Eli Waxman collected 11 assists. Avi Braun recorded a team high 15 digs on defense.
 
Match 2
The Roadrunners posted a 3-0 (25-9, 25-8, 25-11) win over Purchase (4-18, 2-9 Skyline) for their fifth straight victory. Finnegan once again led the way with 10 kills on 16 attempts and just one error while he added five digs and two assists. Simon Moeller collected nine digs on 15 attempts and no errors to hit .600 in the match along with one ace and 11 digs. Charlow hit .500 with seven kills on 12 attempts and just one error while adding four digs, one ace and one block. Meyer recorded 37 assists, four digs, three aces and one solo block. On defense, Mauricio Catalan collected ten digs while Matt Rekuc posted nine digs and five kills. Brendan Edwards hit .556 in the match with five kills on nine attempts and no errors.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, March 28th when they host the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Skyline action at 7pm.
