Purchase, NY: The Manhattanville College women's lacrosse team remained undefeated with a non-conference win over Ramapo College tonight, 18-8. The Valiants move to 3-0 while the Roadrunners now stand at 1-4 overall.
Manhattanville got on the board first before
Kelly Griffin and
Colleen Mason scored back-to-back goals for the Roadrunners for a 2-1 lead with just under nine minutes left in the first half. The Valiants scored four straight goals to take a 5-2 lead before Mason tallied her second goal of the game in the last six seconds to cut the lead in half, 5-3. Mason cut the lead to just one with a goal to start the second before Manhattanville scored nine goals to extend their lead into the third period, 14-4. Mason,

Ella Shade and Griffin each scored goals for the Roadrunners before Manhattanville added four unanswered goals to wrap up the game, 18-8.
Mason led the Roadrunners with four goals while Griffin posted two and Shade and Smeilus each collected one.
Alyssa Curto posted five saves in the game for Ramapo while Britney Sirota tallied 11 saves for Manhattanville.
Ramapo returns to action when they host Maritime College at home on March 22nd at 4:30pm.
