Jersey City, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team extended their win streak to six with a road victory over New Jersey City University this afternoon, 3-1 (25-23, 25-14, 18-25, 26-24). The Roadrunners move to 9-6 overall and remain undefeated in the conference at 3-0. The Gothic Knights move to 9-7 overall and 2-2 in the Skyline.
Andrew Finnegan led the way with 18 kills along with two assists, two aces and eight digs.
Reece Kirchofer hit .471 on the day with 11 kills on 17 attempts and just three errors.
Conor Charlow also recorded double digit kills in the match with ten while he collected five total blocks and one ace.
Sean Nieves contributed with nine kills while
Chris Moren added eight digs on defense.
JoJo Meyer dished out a season high 47 assists while he added one kill, one ace, two blocks and seven digs. The Roadrunners tallied 53 total kills on the day and hit .308 in the match on 120 attempts and just 16 errors.
For NJCU, Brandon DaSilva led the way with 19 kills while James Bajor added ten and Leo Ferrari posted five. Ferrari also posted a team high 28 assists while Alex Casais added 16 in the match and Daniel Esteva led the way on defense with 15 digs.
The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, March 16th when they travel to Yeshiva College for a Skyline match at 7pm.
