Staten Island, NY: The Ramapo College women's indoor track & field team finished 4th overall at the 2023 NJAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The meet was hosted by Farmingdale State as the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. The Roadrunners recorded 49 team points in the meet.

Gbarper Dwah was crowned NJAC Champion in the 60-meter dash as she crossed the finish line in 7.66 seconds, she just missed the NJAC Championship meet record by six one-hundredths of a second.
Rebecca Kneppel finished in 7th place in the same event with a time of 8.05 seconds. Dwah was later named NJAC Runner-Up in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.36 seconds, finishing second overall, while Kneppel grabbed a 6th place finish in 25.65 seconds. In the 5k run,
Suzanne Zaugg grabbed a 3rd place finish with a time of 19.22.94 while
Zoey Cassavell placed 5th overall in the mile run with a personal best time of 5:21.14. Cassavell's time is currently 8th best in program history.
Barbara Exilus grabbed a top ten finish as she clocked in at 1:01.99 in the 400-meter dash and placed 9th overall.
Dina Ayoub finished second in her heat and 11th overall with a personal best time of 1:02.83. Brook Savercool also grabbed an 11th place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:52.46. The distance medley relay team finished in third place overall when they clocked in at 13:11.22. The team was made up of Cassavell,
Meredith Yaskovic,
Kacy Ewing and Zaugg. The 4x400-meter relay team out-kicked Stockton down the stretch to take second place in 3:59.18, a season best mark. The team was made up of Dwah,
Dina Ayoub, Exilus and Kneppel.

In the field, Kneppel placed 8th overall in the long jump with a mark of 4.86-meters.
Jade Sampson placed 12th with a mark of 9.99-meters in the shot put while
Mia Raso placed 12th in the weight throw with a mark of 11.35-meters.

The Roadrunners who qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Championships will compete on March 3rd and March 4th at the NY Armory.
