Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team will be traveling to John Hopkins University for the 2023 NCAA Tournament which begins this week. The Blue Jays will host the eight team bracket that start on Thursday, November 16th and end with the regional championship on Saturday, November 18th.
The Roadrunners (25-1), who earned the NJAC's automatic bid to the tournament with their first-ever conference tournament title, will take on Christopher Newport University on Thursday at 11:30 AM. This is Ramapo's second appearance in the NCAA Tournament in program history. The Captains (21-12) earned one of 22 NCAA at-large bids and will be making their 20th appearance in the tournament. The winner of Thursday's match will advance to face the winner of Wesleyan (CT) (22-1) and Gallaudet University (31-3) on Friday. In the other half of the eight team bracket Middlebury College (15-8) will take on Manhattanville (20-11) and host Johns Hopkins (25-4) will take on Lasell (27-4). The NCAA Regional Championship match will be played on Saturday.

Tickets will go on sale 60 minutes before the start of the first match each day and will not be sold in advance.

The championship field consists of 64 teams in a single-elimination tournament. 42 of these spots are awarded to automatic qualifiers that won their conference, while the remaining 22 spots are given to at-large teams chosen by the NCAA Selection Committee. After the first three regional rounds are completed from on-campus sites, an eight-team playoff will decide a national champion in Claremont, California, hosted by Claremont McKenna and Harvey Mudd-Scripps.
