Ewing, NJ: The #13 ranked College of New Jersey women's soccer team posted a 10-0 win over Ramapo College tonight in NJAC action. The Lions move to 8-1-1 overall and 3-0 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners move to 2-7 overall and 0-3 in the league.
The Lions found the back of the net seven times in the first half. Emma Pascarella scored the first goal for TCNJ with 1:09 on the clock before Victoria D'Imperio tallied the second (8:17), Lindsay O'Keefe tallied back-to-back goals (14:57 & 16:50) before Ella Van Dine finished the half with a hat-trick scoring three straight (27:49, 30:22 & 39:54).
In the second half, TCNJ scored three more goals to extend their lead to 10-0. Pascarella collected her second goal of the game while Tiana Ramirez and Grace Hamlin scored the final two goals for the Lions. The team out shot Ramapo 45-1 in the game including 25 shots on goal while they collected eight corner kicks. Bella Norman earned the shutout victory in goal for TCNJ while she did not have to make a save in the game.
For the Roadrunners in goal,
Makenna Tahbaz started the game and logged 35:33 in the net with eight saves.
Madison Miskovitz recorded just over 29 minutes of action and recorded four saves while
Gabby Matias posted three saves in just over 24 minutes.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 7th when they host New Jersey City University at the Athletic Center Turf Field at 7:00pm.
