Glassboro, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team moved to 16-1 overall and 5-1 in the NJAC with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-17) NJAC road win over Rowan University. The Profs move to 6-15 overall and 2-4 in the conference.
Penelope Rivera led Ramapo to their fourth straight win tonight with 11 kills.
Maliyah LaBrie added nine kills, one ace and four digs while
Desiree Cruz posted eight kills, six total blocks including two solo blocks and four digs.
Cleopatra Diakou led the team with 25 assists and
Katie Bishop posted ten. On defense, both
Krystal Santiago Oquendo and
Kalme Moncavo collected ten digs while Moncavo added seven kills and five aces. The team posted 43 kills on 99 attempts and just 14 errors to hit .293 in the match.
For the Profs, Jena Kaul led the team with ten kills while she added two blocks and five digs. Isabel Kirchner posted seven kills and Brooke Adams dished out a team high 18 assists. On defense, Vanessa Hutchinson posted a team high ten digs and Kyra Hissner added seven. The team collected 23 kills on 88 attempts and 18 errors to hit .057 in the match.
Ramapo return to action on Saturday, October 21st when they travel to Hunter College for a tri-match. The Roadrunners will take on the United States Merchant Marine Academy at 12pm and the host Hawks at 2pm.
