Saratoga Springs, NY:  The Ramapo College women's volleyball team moved to 14-1 overall with two wins today in non-conference action. The Roadrunners defeated Bard College in a neutral match before taking down host Skidmore College; both matches went 3-0.
 
Ramapo 3, Bard 0 (25-13, 25-6, 25-9)
The Roadrunners hit .299 as a team with a total of 33 kills on 77 attempts and just ten errors. 
Penelope Rivera, 
Desiree Cruz and 
Maliyah LaBrie all recorded five kills. 
Cleopatra Diakou posted 15 assists and a team high four aces while 
Amanda Fatouh collected a team high 14 digs on defense.
 
For Bard, Becca Wintjen recorded two kills while Adi David posted three assists. On defense, Ella Small posted a team high eight digs while Annie Couey added six and Ryan Lum poste five. The team collected five total kills on 73 attempts with 20 errors.
 
Ramapo 3, Skidmore 0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-15)
Two Roadrunners hit .500 or better in the match as Cruz hit .563 with ten kills on 16 attempts and just one error. Cruz also led the way with nine assisted blocks. Rivera collected ten kills on 20 attempts with zero errors to hit .500 in the match while she added four assisted blocks. 
Kalme Moncavo added eight kills, three aces, three assisted blocks and three digs while Diakou (19) and 
Alexandra Sacchinelli (14) split the setting duties. On defense, LaBrie led the way with 16 digs while 
Krystal Santiago Oquendo posted 13 digs of her own. The team hit .269 and recorded 39 kills on 108 attempts with 10 errors.
 
For Skidmore, Ella Harris and Maya Stolarz each posted eight kills. Tiffany Flores posted 13 assists and Noa Berger added 11. Jo Blanco and Athena Braverman each collected 13 digs on defense. The team hit .125 in the match with 34 total kills on 112 attempts and 20 errors.
 
Ramapo returns to action on Tuesday, October 17th when they host New Jersey City University in a NJAC match at the Bradley Center at 7:00pm.
