Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's basketball team earned a 55-45 NJAC win over Rutgers-Camden University today at the Bradley Center behind a double double from
Jada Thompson. The Roadrunners improved to 11-2 overall and 6-1 in the conference while the Scarlet Raptors moved to 2-12 overall and 0-7 in the NJAC.

Thompson posted her second straight double double of the week with 13 points and ten rebounds today in the Ramapo win. Thompson also included three assists and four steals.
Jackie Ventricelli posted 16 points including two three-pointers while recording three assists, seven rebounds and a team high six steals.
Olivia Johnstone tallied 11 points, including two three-pointers while
Shannon Burns posted eight rebounds, seven points and two steals. The Roadrunners shot 40% (23-57) from the field, 29% (5-17) from the three-point line and 30% (4-13) form the free throw line. The Roadrunners defense held Rutgers-Camden to under ten points in both the first and fourth quarters while they forced 23 turnovers which led to 21 points for Ramapo.

The Scarlet Raptors were led by Rahzirah Blocker who tallied 18 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Carleigh Galasso posted seven points while Abigail Sampona and Jalissa Pitts each collected six points. Sampona pulled down a team high eight rebounds. Rutgers-Camden shot 31% (17-54) from the floor in the game, 26% (4-15) from the three-point line and 77% (7-9) from the free throw line.

Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday, January 11th when they travel to William Paterson University for a NJAC game at 6pm.
