Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team earned their first shutout of the season with a 3-0 victory over visiting Sarah Lawrence College. The Roadrunners even their record at 1-1 overall while the Gryphons stand at 0-1 overall.

Ramapo scored in the first thirty seconds of the game when
Sam Ingannamorte put one in the back of the net off a pass from
Lauren Vladyka. The duo paired up for the team's second goal of the game this time with Vladyka scoring (26:09) her second goal of the season and Ingannamorte with the assist for a 2-0 score. Each team collected two corner kicks while SLC posted nine shots to Ramapo's five in the first half.

In the second half,
Carla Goodwin picked up her first goal of the season as
Allyson Horianopoulos and Vladyka earned the assist in the 60th minute of play, 3-0. For the Roadrunners,
Emma Conlan recorded four saves in the first half and seven saves in the second half to earn the shutout win. Bridgette Lee recorded three saves for the Gryphons.

The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, September 7th when they travel to Allentown, PA for a non-conference game against Cedar Crest College.
