Patchogue, NY: The St. Joseph's College – Long Island women's volleyball team earned a 3-1 (26-24, 25-23, 22-25, 25-17) non-conference win over Ramapo College today at the Danzi Center. The Golden Eagles move to 5-5 overall while the Roadrunners now stand at 5-4 overall.
Stephanie Ross led the Roadrunners with 13 kills while she added two aces, two blocks and a team high 22 digs.
Riley Stewart posted 12 kills on 18 attempts with just one error to hit .611 while she added four blocks including three solo blocks.
Alexandra Sacchinelli and
Katie Bishop split the setting duties with Sacchinelli posting 18 assists along with eight digs. Bishop collected 14 assists, two aces and eight digs.
Jenna Stolker posted ten digs on defense while
Amanda Fatouh collected five kills, two assists and seven digs.
Caleigh Golabek contributed with six kills, three aces, three digs and four blocks.
The Golden Eagles were led by Jackie Wolf with 17 kills while Madison Gremli and Deirdre Carney each posted 14 and ten kills respectively. Tara Langford led the team with 39 assists while Katie D'Angelo posted a team high 14 digs.
The Roadrunners return to action on October, 4th when they host Stockton University at 7pm at the Bradley Center.
