Mahwah, NJ: The College of New Jersey women's soccer team earned a 6-0 win over Ramapo College today at the Athletic Center. The Lions improve to 6-1-1 overall, 1-0 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 3-3 overall and 0-1 in the conference.
Six different Lions scored for the #13/16 ranked team in the most recent D3Soccer.com Top 25 and United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Polls. Lindsay O'Keefe (11:14), Gianna Minerva (30:19) and Ivonne Vasquez (40:00) all scored for TCNJ in the first half as they led 3-0. In the second half, Emma Pascarella (53:11), Sophie Vieira (59:46) and Ella Van Dine (76:45) each put in goals to extend their lead, 6-0.
TCNJ held a 25-4 shots on goal advantage over the Roadrunners while they collected seven corner kicks to Ramapo's one.
Emma Conlan recorded 19 saves for the Roadrunners in the loss.
Ramapo will return to action on September 28th when they travel to Rutgers-Camden University for a NJAC game at 4pm.
