Camden, NJ: The Rutgers-Camden University women's volleyball team came back to defeat Ramapo College 3-2 (25-23, 22-25, 25-27, 18-26, 16-14) tonight in NJAC action. The Scarlet Raptors even their overall record at 5-5 overall while they stand at 2-1 in the NJAC. The Roadrunners move to 5-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
Two Roadrunners tallied double digit kills in the match as
Caleigh Golabek led the team with 15 kills and three aces. Golabek also posted three blocks while
Stephanie Ross added 11 kills, two aces and a team high 19 digs.
Amanda Fatouh collected seven kills while
Riley Stewart posted a team high five blocks.
Alexandra Sacchinelli posted a team high 19 assists while
Hannah McTighe posted 13 and
Katie Bishop added nine. On defense
Emma Moran collected 14 digs while Sacchinelli posted 11. The Roadrunners recorded 51 kills in the match on 161 attempts and 19 errors.
The Scarlet Raptors were led by Erica Nebrich who posted 13 kills while Isabella Choice tallied 13 and Kaitlyn Parrish added 12. Parrish also posted a team high five blocks while Brinn Hassan dished out a match-high 47 assists. On defense, Morgan Fox led the team with 20 digs while Novak added 14 of her own in the match. The team posted 62 kills on 189 attempts and 30 errors.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, September 24th when they travel to St. Joseph's College – Long Island for one non-conference match at 12pm.
