WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL EARNS TWO 3-0 WINS TODAY ON THE ROAD

The Ramapo College women's volleyball team moved to 5-1 overall with two 3-0 wins in a tri-match at Albertus Magnus College this afternoon. The Roadrunners defeated Sarah Lawrence College, 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-16) while they took down the host Falcons, 3-0 (25-12, 25-14, 25-16).
 
Sarah Lawrence Match
Stephanie Ross led Ramapo with seven kills while she collected ten digs. Amanda Fatouh and Riley Stewart tallied six kills each. Fatouh posted three aces and two blocks while Stewart recorded one block in the match. Caleigh Golabek posted three aces and a team high six blocks while Emma Moran recorded 11 digs on defense to lead the team. Ramapo hit .256 in the match with 29 total kills on 82 attempts and just eight errors.
 
Albertus Magnus Match
The Roadrunners hit a season best .318 as a team with 40 total kills on 85 attempts and 13 errors. Golabek recorded a team high 10 kills, six aces and four blocks to lead Ramapo in the match. Ross and Riley each collected nine and eight kills respectively while Naja Satchell posted three blocks of her own. Moran and Katie Bishop each tallied three aces while Bishop led the team with 14 assists. Alexandra Sacchinelli and Hannah McTighe each posted seven assists while Golabek collected seven digs.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, September 17th when they host Montclair State University in the first NJAC match of the season. The match is set to begin at 7pm at the Bradley Center.
