Aston, PA: The Ramapo College women's soccer team posted a 4-0 shutout win over Neumann College today on the road in non-conference action. The Roadrunners improve to 3-2 overall while the Knights now stand at 1-4-2 overall.
Shayna Kenduck put the Roadrunners on the board in the 23rd minute (22:43) when she scored her first goal of the season. Emma Piskaldo put in the team's second goal of the first half off an assist from
Sam Ingannamorte for the 2-0 score; this is also Piskaldo's first goal of the season.
In the second half,
Carla Goodwin recorded back-to-back goals to extend the Roadrunner lead to 4-0. She hit the back of the net in the 60th minute (59:28) before
Ashley Agrillo tallied an assist in the 70th minute while Goodwin scored her team leading 7th goal of the year. For the game, Ramapo outshot the Knights 20-7 including 11-4 on goal.
Emma Conlan recorded one save in the first half while she faced three shots and
Makenna Tahbaz posted three saves in the second half as she faced four shots.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, September 21st when they host Lehman College at 4:45pm in non-conference action.
