Hackettstown, NJ : The Ramapo College women's volleyball team opened the 2022 season with a win at Centenary University, 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 26-24).

Ramapo won the first two sets before they were pushed to 26-24 in set three where
Alexandra Sacchinelli recorded three straight service aces to take the lead and earn the win for the Roadrunners.
Caleigh Golabek led the team with 12 kills as she hit .857 in the match with no errors on 14 attempts.
Stephanie Ross added seven kills while
Amanda Fatouh contributed with six kills of her own. Ross also posted five service aces along with a team high nine digs while Sacchinelli and
Katie Bishop split the setting duties. Sacchinelli posted ten assists and Bishop collected a team high 15 assists along with two aces, one kill and four digs. The team hit .281 in the match with 37 kills on 89 attempts and 12 errors.

The Cyclones were led by Alyssa Bizzarro with 13 kills while Mya Burnett contributed with seven. Kim Stallworth dished out a team high 14 assists and Martina Josifoska posted nine digs.

The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, Sept. 8th when they host their home opener against Hunter College in a non-conference match at the Bradley Center at 7pm.
