Mahwah, NJ:  Junior Cheickna Traore (Jersey City, NJ), sophomore Delilah Cruz, rookies Rebecca Kneppel (Bloomingdale, NJ), Meredith Yaskovic (Branchville, NJ) and Gbarper Dwah (Lincoln Park, NJ) are all headed to the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this week in Geneva, Ohio. The championships are being hosted by the University of Mount Union and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission at the SPIRE Institute.
 
The top 20 male and top 22 female times/marks in each NCAA event along with the top 16 relay teams in NCAA Division III have qualified for the championships. The top eight finishers in each event earn All-American honors. 
 
Traore qualified for the 200m and 400m races at the championships after recording the 4th best time (20.96 seconds) in the 200m and the 3rd best time in the 400m (46.89 seconds) in the NCAA this season. Each time is also a Ramapo College school record while his time in the 200m time is currently 12th all-time in NCAA Division III. This is Traore's first appearance at the Outdoor Championships in his career after earning NCAA All-American honors at the 2022 Indoor Championships. The prelims of the 200m race is on Thursday, May 26th at 6:55pm while the prelims of the 400m race is on Friday, May 27th at 3:15pm. The finals of each race are on Saturday, May 28th at 1:20pm for the 400m race and 2:50 for the 200m race.
 
The women's 4x100-meter relay team qualified for NCAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 47.16 seconds. The team enters the championship with the 10th best time in the field of 16 relay teams. This is Cruz's second NCAA Championship appearance of her career after earning NCAA All-American honors In the 60m hurdles during the indoor season. Kneppel, Yaskovic and Dwah will compete at their first NCAA Championship. The prelims of the 4x100-meter relay is set for Thursday, May 26th at 5:15pm and if the Roadrunners advance to the finals they will compete on Saturday, May 28th at 12:05pm.
