Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's basketball team defeated Rutgers Camden, 71-48 tonight at the Bradley Center as 
Bridget Cahill led the way to earn her team their 10
th win of the season (10-11, 9-9 NJAC).  With the loss the Scarlet Raptors fall to 2-17 overall and 1-17 in conference play.
 
Cahill led with 22 points hitting 8-17 from the field including four three-point goals, while 
Jada Thompson added 16 points shooting 7-12.  Senior 
Alie Wickersheim collected 12 points of her own as the team shot a combined 31-76 (41%) on the night.  Wickersheim collected the double-double pulling down 13 boards and 
Jackie Ventricelli dished out four assists.
 
The Roadrunners jumped to an early 7-0 lead sparked by a jump shot from Cahill, over the first 3:12 of play.  The Scarlet Raptors answered back with six points of their own all from Jalissa Pitts, 6-7.  With 3:51 left in the quarter, Carleigh Galasso sparked another six-point run, capped off by a layup from Pitts putting Rutgers-Camden on top, 12-11.  A jump shot from Thompson ended out the quarter, 17-14.  Ramapo dominated the second quarter tacking on 24 points to the Scarlet Raptors ten, heading into the locker room up 41-24.  The Roadrunners remained on top for the second half, taking the victory 71-48. 
 
The Scarlet Raptors were led by Pitts with 32 points who shot 7-11 in the loss.  The team hit 19-49 (39%) on the night.  Pitts also led in rebounds with nine and assists with two.
 
Ramapo finishes the regular season as the #5 seed in the upcoming New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament.  The Roadrunners will travel to #4 William Paterson on Tuesday, February 22nd.  Game time TBA.
