Gbarper Dwah and
Rebecca Kneppel of the Ramapo College women's indoor track and field team each set a new school record tonight at the Seahawk Shootout hosted by Wagner College. The meet took place at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

In the 60-meter dash, Dwah lowered her own school record that she set one week ago when she posted a time of 7.64 seconds. Dwah placed fourth overall while
Dina Ayoub clocked in at 8.45 seconds and
Jessica Branham posted a time of 8.79 seconds. Kneppel set the new school record in the 300-meter dash when she crossed the finish line in 41.30 seconds.
Barbara Exilus posted a time of 45.24 seconds and
Renee Martignoni Mercado clocked in at 48.77 seconds. In the 3k race,
Suzanne Zaugg and
Zoey Cassavell recorded two top eight finishes. Zaugg posted a time of 10:52.86 for a 5th place finish while her time is 7th all-time at Ramapo. Cassavell finished 7th overall in 11:06.77 which 9th all-time. The 4x400-meter relay team posted a combined time of 4:09.31 and placed 6th overall. The team was made up of
Meredith Yaskovic, Dwah, Ayoub and Kneppel.

In the field,
Sarah Gleason posted a mark of 4.27-meters (14' 0.25") in the long jump while she recorded a mark of 9.03-meters (29' 7.5") in the triple jump. In the shot put,
Jade Sampson recorded a mark of 10.09-meters (33' 1.25") while
Mia Raso tallied a mark of 8.75-meters (28' 8.5"). Raso also competed in the weight throw and posted a mark of 10.17-meters (33' 4.5")

The Roadrunners return to action on January 14th, 2023 when they travel to the New York Armory for the Lions Indoor Invitational hosted by the College of New Jersey. The meet is slated to begin at 5pm.
