ROADRUNNERS SPLIT A PAIR OF MATCHES IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION

Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's volleyball team split a pair of games today at the Bradley Center. The Roadrunners defeated Sarah Lawrence College, 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-20) in match one of the day before they fell to Moravian College, 1-3 (25-27, 25-22, 19-25, 11-25). The Roadrunners now stand at 6-6 on the year.
 
Match One – Ramapo 3, SLC 0
Caleigh Golabek posted 11 kills while Stephanie Ross tallied ten and Amanda Fatouh recorded seven. Alexandra Sacchinelli posted a team high 17 assists while Katie Bishop added 13 while Emma Moran recorded a team high 18 digs on defense. Ross added 13 digs while Fatough posted nine. Ramapo hit .207 as a team with 39 total kills on 116 attempts and 15 errors.
 
For the Gryphons, Skyle Muonio-Kawecki, Athena Kazos and Claire Mitchell all collected five kills each in the match. Mia Rector posted a team high 18 assists while Kaille Ferguson posted a match-best 21 digs on defense.
 
Match Two – Ramapo 1, Moravian 3
Three Roadrunners hit in double figures in the match as they were once again led by Golabek with 15 kills while both Ross and Fatouh each tallied 11. Sacchinelli posted a team high three aces and 28 assists while she added 11 digs. Golabek led the way with three blocked shots while Moran posted 30 digs on defense and Ross recorded 21. Ramapo posted 54 kills on 188 attempts and 25 errors.
 
Sophie Bauer tallied a team high 17 kills for Moravian while Makenzie Krasley added 12 and Jenna Deegan posted 11. Natalia Matos dished out a match high 42 assists while Gabby Mancini posted 26 digs on defense.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, October 11th when they travel to New Jersey City University for a NJAC match scheduled for 7pm.
