Galloway, NJ: The Stockton University women's soccer team posted a 3-0 NJAC victory over Ramapo College this afternoon. The Ospreys move to 8-7-4 overall and 3-3-2 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 4-9 overall and 1-7 in the conference.
The Ospreys scored all three goals in the first half as Allie Magas scored early for the team with a goal with 3:59 on the clock, 1-0. Sophia Drea collected her first goal of the year in the 16th minute before Frace Tecce also posted her first goal of the year off a pass from Kate Samuels in the 39th minute (38:19) for the 3-0 score.
For the Roadrunners in goal,
Emma Conlan tallied six saves. Megan Brady started the game and did not need to make a save in the first half while Catherine Goger tallied two saves in the second half for Stockton. Ramapo collected two shots on goal to Stockton's nine while the Ospreys tallied seven corner kicks to the Ramapo's five.
The Roadrunners will return to action on Monday, October 25th when they host John Jay College in non-conference action at 4pm.
