Mahwah, NJ: The Rowan University women's volleyball team remained undefeated in NJAC play with a 3-0 (26-16, 25-17, 25-15) road win over Ramapo College tonight at the Bradley Center. The Profs improve to 17-3 overall and 6-0 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners move to 7-7 overall and 2-4 in the conference.
Rowan hit .300 in the match with 45 kills on 110 attempts and just 12 errors. Brianna Newson posted 15 kills while Natalie Ogden tallied 13 and Isabel Kirchner added seven. Brooke Adams dished out a match-high 42 assists while Ogden led the team on defense with 12 digs along with Simone Sparano who recorded 12 of her own. Jackie Camponelli and Jena Kaul each posted three aces for the Profs.
For the Roadrunners,
Caleigh Golabek led the Roadrunners with six kills while adding one ace.
Riley Stewart posted four kills and a team high three blocks while
Stephanie Ross tallied 13 digs, three kills and two aces.
Alexandra Sacchinelli dished out a team high 10 assists while
Katie Bishop added eight. The team collected 20 kills on 96 attempts with 16 errors.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, October 18th when they travel to Kean University for a NJAC match at 7pm.
