Lancaster, PA: The Ramapo College women's swim team competed at the 2021 F&M Invitational this weekend hosted by Franklin & Marshall College. The team placed 10th overall and recorded 222 points in the three-day meet.
Taylor Gray placed 4
th overall in the 200-yard breaststroke while she broke the school record twice. She broke it during the prelims earlier in the day (2:26:89) before setting the new record in the A-finals with a time of 2:25.63. On Saturday, Gray broke the 100-yard breaststroke record twice when she placed 4
th overall in the A-final. She broke it in the morning session (1:08.01) while she set the new record in the evening in 1:07.07.
In the 200-yard butterfly,
Fiona Misiura clocked in at 2:14.52 in 11
th place overall while she placed 10
th overall in B-Final of the 100-yard butterfly in 59.12 seconds.
Carissa Campbell finished in 10
th place in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 18:45.81.
The 200-yard medley relay team clocked in with a time of 2:12.60. The team was made up of
Kaitlin Balasaygun,
Sophia Cender,
Katie Riva and
Rica De Leon. The 400-yard medley relay team posted a time of 4:09.54, the team was made up of Campbell, Gray, Misiura and
Camila Mercado.
The Roadrunners will return to action on January 13
th when they host Rowan University in a NJAC conference meet at 12pm.
