Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's swim team earned two wins today to open the 2019-2020 season. The Roadrunners defeated Kean University in conference action 78-35 when they also defeated Baruch College in non-conference action 88-25.
 
Ramapo earned a first-place finish in the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:59.30. The team was made up of 
Eliza Pluckhorn, 
Taylor Gray, 
Fiona Misiura and 
Olivia Davis. Pluckhorn won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:05.50. Gray and 
Madison Riccardi finished 1-2 in the 100-yard breaststroke with times of 1:12.65 and 1:18.32 respectively.
 
Misiura grabbed a first-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle in 26.72 while 
Kiersten Farrell placed first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 59.81. 
Kiaranina Liwag placed first overall in the 50-yard backstroke in 31.54 while 
Yara Hassan and 
Grace McCrone went 1-2 in the 50-yard freestyle with times of 33.25 and 34.45 respectively. In the 500-yard freestyle, 
Carissa Campbell won with a time of 5:42.17 and 
Abigael Coughlin (1:05.53) and 
Pamela Santos (1:05.81) went 1-2 in the 100-yard butterfly. Gray (1:06.63) and 
Breanna Gleason (1:09.94) went 1-2 in the 100-yard IM.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 26th when they host Drew University in a non-conference meet at 2pm.
