Wayne, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team defeated NJAC rival William Paterson University tonight on the road 144-80 as they won eight events. The Roadrunners now stand at 2-8 overall and 2-3 in the NJAC. The Pioneers fall to 10-4 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team won the event with a time of 2:00.57. The team was made up of
Carissa Campbell,
Grace McCrone,
Fiona Misiura and
Olivia Davis.
Brittany Goodman won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:47.61 while
Madison Riccardi placed second in 12:00.74. Campbell and
Breanna Gleason went 1-2 in the 200-yard freestyle with times of 2:09.49 and 2:12.72 respectively.
Eliza Pluckhorn won the 200-yard IM (2:26.39) while
Kiersten Farrell placed second (2:28.92) and
Pamela Santos finished in third (2:30.80).
Fiona Misiura posted a winning time of 1:05.14 in the 100-yard butterfly while
Abigael Coughlin placed second (1:06.62) and Gleason placed third (1:07.70).
Sarah Stacey posted a time of 58.92 to win the 100-yard freestyle while Davis finished in second in 1:00.92. Riccardi won the 100-yard breaststroke when she clocked in at 1:17.16. The 200-yard freestyle relay team won with a time of 1:51.14. The team was made up of Misiura, Stacey, Farrell and Pluckhorn.
The team returns to action on Saturday, February 2nd when they travel to Drew University for the final dual meet of the season at 1pm.
