Box Score Englewood, FL: The Rochester Institute of Technology (1-1) women's lacrosse team defeated Ramapo College 16-13 today at the SpringFling Invite at Dever Park.
Alyssa Tachon led the Roadrunners with four goals in the game while Gabi Davison and
Ava Rinaldi each hit the back of the net twice in the game.

Colleen Manley and
Nicole Jaskot each scored one for the Roadrunners. Ramapo out shot RIT 28-25 in the game while they earned 16 draw controls to 13 for RIT.
With under 14 minutes to go Davidson and Manley scored back-to-back goals to tie the game before RIT scored four unanswered goals to retake a 15-11 lead with under eight minutes to go. Tachon and Rinaldi hit the back of the net on free position shots to come within two with 6:09 left to play while RIT got on more goal with 3:42 on the clock for the 16-13 lead. RIT defense held Ramapo the remainder of the game as Rebecca Snitkoff made three saves in the final 5:38 to preserve the win.
Monica Bubello posted seven saves in the net for the Roadrunners while Snitkoff collected seven saves in the final 36 minutes of action for RIT. Pauline Goodermote started the game and played 24 minutes as she posted one save.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, when they take on Whiteman College at 5pm at Dever Park.
