Union, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team earned their first win of the season 136-55 over Kean University on the road in NJAC action. The Roadrunners now stand at 1-5 overall and 1-2 in the conference while the Cougars now stand at 2-4 overall and 0-4 in the NJAC.
The 200-yard medley relay team posted a winning time of 2:04.34. The team was made up of
Eliza Pluckhorn,
Madison Riccardi,
Abigael Coughlin and
Olivia Davis.
Carissa Campbell won two individual events today along with being on the winning 200-yard free relay team. Campbell won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:47.26 while she clocked in at 5:44.74 in the 500-yard freestyle.
Fiona Misiura earned a first-place finish in the 50-yard free (27.52) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:04.98).
Sarah Stacey won the 100-yard freestyle in 1:00.09 while she also won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:10.04. Pluckhorn and
Breanna Gleason went 1-2 in the 200-yard IM with times of 2:28.12 and 2:31.18 while
Brittany Goodman and Riccardi went 1-2 in the 100-yard breaststroke with times of 1:16.41 and 1:18.16 respectively. Ramapo wrapped up the meet with a first place showing in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Paris Fox, Misiura, Stacey and Campbell combined for a winning time of 1:53.85.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host the University of Bridgeport on January 12th, 2019 at 2pm in non-conference action.
